About the Artists:
Being (re)transplanted in SF, Andre Sibayan has absorbed the rich culture of the left coast. Gradutating in 2000 from The Academy of Art with a BFA in Illustration, he continued to learn and flourish as he added design to his creative arsenal. Since then some of his clientele include Old Navy, Blue Marlin, Playboy Magazine, Playstation and XBOX magazine(s), Levi's Strauss, Poleng Lounge, Exact Science, and private labels for TARGET. Outside of rare stints as a painter, he finds himself doing much of the same; being a hired gun for startups and mega corporations alike. Peep your tshirt. There is a good chance
that Dre might have designed it.

Ciriaco Sayoc II, born in the Bronx (NY), nourished in LA, cultivated in San Francisco, draws inspiration for his work from everything in life. Fueled by the motivation from family and friends he graduated from San Francisco's Academy of Art College in 2001 with a BFA in Fashion Design. The designer has since then had the pleasure of working with a variety of
clientele, from start up to mass market, some of which include San Francisco's True Clothing, Fox Racing, and Levi Strauss. At the moment Ciriaco finds himself swimming in denim at the Levi Plaza and continues to learn and understand as well as innovate and create within the fashion industry.

Aside from building a friendship in college, the duo has also formed a great working relationship. This is the 3rd installment of FABRIC & PAINT, in which the hope of each successive show is to continue bring life to their figments of imagination. Together in BIRDS OF A FEATHER, avian dreamscapes are painted, sewn, finished, printed, and explored.
